In which States do EAC Certificates apply?
EAC Certificates and EAC Declarations serve as proof of EAC Conformity and are valid in all Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan). EAC Certificate vs. EAC Declaration?
This is indeed a very frequently asked question. The TR EEU Technical Regulations clearly define whether an EAC Declaration or an EAC Certificate is required to confirm the EAC Compliance of a product. An EAC Declaration can be compared to the CE Manufacturer's Declaration. Test reports are prepared with the help of the technical documentation of a producer. For EAC Certification or EAC Declaration, individual products of the producer must either be tested in an accredited test center or an audit at the producer's factory becomes necessary.
Difference between CE and EAC Mark?
The EAC Mark is used to confirm the EAC Certification. Almost all products exported to Russia and EEU States are subject to EAC Certification in compliance with the Technical Regulations of the EEU States. Certified products are labelled with the EAC Mark. A CE Mark, on the other hand, confirms the EU Conformity of the product. CE Marking of products is a prerequisite for placing goods on the market in the territory of the European Economic Union.
